Understanding your reports
What the reports represent
A Karvilo report is prepared from the workspace entries and connected or imported records available for the selected scope. It is not an independent confirmation that every underlying transaction is correct or that every expected record has been received. An original source report and a calculated Karvilo result serve different purposes.
Offline and manual entries
Counter bills, receipts, expenses, stock movements, service records and other manual entries reflect the details entered and the settings applied. Review dates, quantities, prices, discounts, payment methods, tax treatment, parties and opening balances. A payment recorded in the books is not proof that a bank or payment provider has settled it.
Online seller and imported records
Marketplace reports can arrive late, cover different periods, use different currencies or be revised by their source. Settlement, transaction, order, advertising and tax reports may use different reporting bases and should not automatically be added together. Review import warnings, duplicates, missing costs, advertising coverage, unclassified charges and reconciliation differences before treating a result as final.
Processing and corrections
Karvilo may classify, combine and calculate from supplied records according to the selected rules and settings. We aim to process that information faithfully, make relevant limitations clear and investigate suspected defects. Mistakes can arise in source data, user entries, mappings or software processing; we do not automatically attribute every issue to an external source. Contact support with the report period, source and record reference if a figure appears wrong.
Before you rely on a result
Reconcile important figures to original reports, invoices and bank evidence. Review assumptions, filters, costs and taxes, resolve warnings, and obtain professional advice when needed. Do this before posting accounting entries, making payments, submitting tax returns or using a report for a material business decision. Reports and AI explanations are not an audit opinion or a tax filing certification. Customer verification does not waive rights or remedies that the law protects.
